This table suggests that Americans eat too much protein. The table does not contain data that is in similar units, it includes an off topic group- the number of chickens raised vs. the number of chickens eaten. The proteins represented are 'fast food' proteins raising a bias that protein is bad because its fast food. It does have contrast and uses the same font. There is no hierarchy or organization of the information except that it is put into a table. I would not use this diagram. This may sound odd but, things just look right or they don't. It works with furniture in a room and with visuals added to make a point. A lack of cohesive organization creates chaos and my mind will discount the information based on the visual presentation.
